Andressa started a romantic affair with Tiago in the year 15when they both were attending high school. After three months of dating and living together, they moved with him in his home. In her interviews, the famed woman said that prior to the conversion to Christ, she was unable to forgive her victim. One of the hardest choices I've ever had to make was to contact the person who had abused me sexually. It wasn't an easy decision. It wasn't simple. After several fasts and prayers I told him via the phone that I had forgiving him. I did not feel like I was guilty, and requested his forgiveness. This was a straightforward request. I didn't justify my actions. Mariste Urach speaks in a Globo interview how she felt when she learned of the abuse her daughter been subjected to. She headed to the interior city Rio Grande do Sul, where the pedophile was a resident, to retaliate.
