Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 in Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and only of Richard McCormick. Her father worked as a school teacher and her mom was an at-home mom. Michael Dennis Kevin is her the third of her siblings. McCormick began singing and performing from a young age. At the age 6, McCormick won her first prize in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called her to ask if the actress would be interested in a career in show business. McCormick was chosen to play in her first major part in 1964, in the tv spot for Mattels latest doll Baby Pattaburp. In the following year, she starred for the company's Chatty Cathy Doll and was immediately chosen to play her role in the La Jolla Playhouse play Wind ItUp And ItBreaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick's audition was among 1200 other children who auditioned for the role of the eldest daughter to be a part of The Brady Bunch. The sitcom starred Florence Henderson and Robert Reed, newlyweds who had the same family as a blended one. This show lasted for five seasons. McCormick admitted her story in Heres the Story. Surviving Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice (published 2008) that McCormick was close to losing her Virginity with Barry Williams during the five-year period in the series. The actress was only 16 at the time; he was 19. She told me that it could be possible, however it was never the best time to do it.
